Children up to the age of 5 travel free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. The children´s fare apply to children from 6 to 15 years.

Family ticket for 2 adults (parents/grandparents) and any number of their own children and/or grandchildren under 16. You may be asked to present your ID to prove your family status.

10-trip tickets are available for the price of 9 tickets on all routes. Any unused tickets may not be returned. 10-trip tickets are valid for one year from the date of issue.

Groups of 20 or more full-paying adults receive a discount of approx. 10 %, provided the tickets are purchased together.

There is no discount on cure and guest cards.

Child fares also apply to school trips and youth groups. A youth group must consist of at least 8 young people (under 18) accompanied by a group leader and the tickets must be purchased together. For every 20 pupils and/or young people, one adult supervisor travels free of charge. Everyone else accompanying the group pays the group rate. Pre-school groups (of 8 or more children) all pay €1.00 * per child (€1.50 * for a combined train and boat ticket) on the boat or Chiemsee Railway.

The Bayern- Ticket is accepted on the ships and the Chiemseebahn. You will receive a discount of approximately 10% on the regular fare.
The number of discounted tickets per Bayern- Ticket is limited to the specified number of passengers, but a maximum of 5 tickets.

No discount is available when purchasing the tickets on the train (please purchase tickets at the ticket counters).
