Children under 6 accompanied by a parent or guardian may enter free of charge. Child fares apply to children aged between 6 and 15.
Family ticket for 2 adults (parents/grandparents) and any number of their own children and/or grandchildren under 16. You may be asked to present your ID to prove your family status.
10-trip tickets are available for the price of 9 tickets on all routes. Any unused tickets may not be returned. 10-trip tickets are valid for one year from the date of issue.
Groups of 20 or more full-paying adults receive a discount of approx. 10 %, provided the tickets are purchased together.
There is no discount on spa and guest tickets.
School trips, children's and youth groups
Child fares also apply to school trips and youth groups. A youth group must consist of at least 8 young people (under 18) accompanied by a group leader and the tickets must be purchased together. For every 20 pupils and/or young people, one adult supervisor travels free of charge. Everyone else accompanying the group pays the group rate. Pre-school groups (of 8 or more children) all pay €1.00 * per child (€1.50 * for a combined train and boat ticket) on the boat or Chiemsee Railway.

DB Bavaria Tickets
DB Bavaria Tickets are accepted on the boats and Chiemsee Railway. Bavaria Ticket holders receive a discount of approx. 10% off the current fare.
The number of discounted tickets issued per Bavaria Ticket must be the same as the number of people actually travelling, up to a maximum of 5 tickets.
There is no discount when purchasing tickets on the train (discounted tickets may be purchased at the ticket office at Chiemsee Railway Station).
